Wellington, Utah – Our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle and friend Bobby Ray Duckworth Jr. tragically lost his life at the age of 26. Bobby was born on May 21, 1993. A son of Bobby Ray Duckworth Sr., and Carolyn Curtis Bettfreund. He graduated from Canyon View High School with the Class of 2011. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Even as a boy Bobby loved the outdoors. He had a passion for fishing. He hunted as a young boy. He liked to camp and enjoyed being in the mountains. He enjoyed four wheelers and liked to look for sheds. One of his best qualities was his big heart. He loved to spend time with his family. Family was very important to Bobby. He truly enjoyed spending time with the people he loved, and will be dearly missed by his loved ones. Bobby left us much too soon with his many dreams and aspirations never to be told or realized. Bobby is survived by his father Bobby Ray Sr. and Sherri Duckworth of Layton; mother Carolyn and Doug Bettfreund of Richfield; brothers: Walker Bettfreund; Kameron Bettfreund; Kyle Bettfreund all of Richfield; Bill Duckworth of Salt Lake City; Blake Duckworth of Glendale, Arizona; sisters: Alexis Bettfreund of Salt Lake City; Lori Duckworth of Glendale, Arizona; Cecilia Duckworth; Cara Duckworth; Cotrese Duckworth; all of Nampa, Idaho; Shanelle Redding of South Jordan; Shantell Redding of Murray; grandparents: Max Curtis of Sierra Vista, Arizona; Linda and John Thompson of Cleveland, Ohio; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandmother Rosalie Curtis; uncles: Errald Curtis; Chris Curtis; Brett Curtis. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, September 21, 2019 in the Richfield 7th LDS Ward Chapel, 159 North 400 West, Richfield, Utah. Friends may call for viewing from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 prior to services. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
