Richfield, Utah - Bonita Louise Jensen Robison passed away at her home in Richfield on July 26, 2008 after a hard-fought battle with colon cancer. She was 80 years old at the time of her death. She was born June 11, 1928 in Draper, Utah, a daughter of Marion Rasmuss and Bernice Louise Starley Jensen. Bonnie graduated from Richfield High School, Class of 1947. She married Darrell Eugene (Dick) Robison, May 7, 1948 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death, June 29, 2006. Bonnie and Dick spent their life together traveling, boating, hunting, fishing and enjoying their family. She loved gardening, doing handiwork and cooking. In their later years, Dick and Bonnie would winter in Arizona or Texas, and return to Sevier County to spend the summer and fall seasons. Bonnie was a kind, gracious person that was an example of goodness to all that knew her. She appreciated the kindness shown to her by her family and friends during her final illness. Bonnie is survived by her two daughters: Dixie and Brent Betenson; Diann and Mark Ross, all of Richfield; seven granddaughters; 12 great-grandchildren; sister and brother: Janice and Mateland Nay of Richfield; Hal and Athalia Jensen of Antimony; in-laws: Creg and Geneva Burns of Oklahoma; Twila Duncan of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and sister-in-law: Jack and Ellis Rae Jensen of Salina. At her request, Bonnie’s remains have been cremated and a private family celebration of her life will be held August 3, 2008. Funeral Directors: Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah. The family would like to thank Intermountain Health Care Hospice for their kindness and care.
