Kyleen Torgersen Moosman

April 18, 1951 — October 10, 2014

Bicknell, Utah - Our kind and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, neighbor, and friend Kyleen Torgersen Moosman, age 63, returned home to her Heavenly Father on the evening of October 10, 2014. Kyleen was born on April 18, 1951 in Salina, Utah. She is a daughter of Kyle W and Shirley Kunz Torgersen. She married Talmage Moosman on June 21, 1968 in Salina. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served in many callings including teaching in the Primary, and as a Young Women's Leader. She was active in her community, serving as an EMT, and as a 4-H leader. Kyleen enjoyed hunting and trapping with her husband Talmage. They enjoyed their time in the mountains together, as long as Talmage kept the truck away from the edge of the road where the elevation declined far too quickly for Kyleen's liking. She liked to quilt and to crochet, and she enjoyed gardening also. Kyleen loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She had a contagious smile, and an infectious laugh that made her a joy to be around. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Kyleen is survived by her husband Talmage Moosman of Bicknell; her daughters: Jackie and Royal Roberts of Loa; Christy and Scott Beckstead of Vernal; Jessica and David Blundell of Magna; her sisters: Shirley Ann Colby of Sigurd; Bonnie and Mike Willden of Salt Lake City; Laurie and Del Eckersley of Salina; her brothers: Kevin and Debbie Torgersen of Aurora; Donnie and Michelle Torgersen of Albert Lea, Minnesota; her sister-in-laws: Dixie Christensen of Richfield; Mary Ann Bliss of Loa; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Elmer and Elma Moosman; her brothers-in-law: Jim Moosman; Steve Colby; her nephew Doug Bliss; her niece Tammy Torgersen. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 18, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in the Thurber LDS Ward Chapel located at 190 North 200 East, Bicknell, Utah. Friends may call for viewing on Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Utah, or Saturday morning from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. in Bicknell prior to the services.
