Loutresha Rose Harvey, age 61, of Richfield, died November 7, 2008 in St. George, Utah. She was born October 29, 1947 in Gordon, South Dakota, a daughter of Joseph and Susanna Louthersa Hendricks Harvey. Lou was a full blooded Native American Indian of the Souix, Blackfoot and Cheynne Indian Tribes. She came to Utah from South Dakota, to be with her brother in Ogden and her sister in Salt Lake City, in 1979. She came to Richfield in 1988, living at the Trails Group Home on Ogden Drive, which later became Bethphage. She later moved to Life Included in Richfield and then to Free Will in Gunnison and finally back to Life Included. Lou worked with Community Careers in Richfield and Turn Community Services. She was a member of the LDS Church, loved art work, doing ceramics, painting and she enjoyed traveling. She was an avid Jazz fan. GO JAZZ!!! Lou was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Harvey and her sister, JoAnne Harvey. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West, where friends may call for viewing Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 to 2:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
