Mark Enoch Larsen

Teasdale/Bicknell, Utah - Mark Enoch Larsen, age 74, died April 6, 2006 in Bicknell, after a brave and valiant battle with cancer. He was born February 9, 1932 in Monroe, Utah, a son of Clarence Abraham and Marjorie Frances McComb Larsen. Mark graduated from Springville High School, Class of 1950. He graduated from BYU in Provo, with a B.A. in English, Secondary Education and Counseling. He married Nena Flo Law, May 26, 1957 in Hawaii. They were divorced June 12, 1970. He married Lucia Giollia, September 12, 1994 in the Philippines. He was in the Air Force reserve. Mark taught school at Wayne High School and East Carbon High School. He was a High School Counselor, English Teacher, Art Teacher and he worked for the Dixie National Forest, Teasdale Ranger District, on Boulder Mountain as a Wildlife Technician. Mark enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, oil and watercolor painting, ceramics, rug making, reading, writing, camping, hiking, rock collecting and traveling. He is survived by his wife Lucia, of Bicknell; children: Nonia (Scott Reeves) Larsen of Kooskia, ID; Erika (McKay Hickman) Larsen, Thor Larsen, all of Teasdale; step-son, Gilbert Suderio of Teasdale and the Philippines; 11 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters: Phyllis and Ted McQuivey of Springville; Carolyn and Rod McCarvel of Sandy. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Marjorie Larsen and two brothers: Lynn Larsen and Rod Larsen. At his request, his remains have been cremated and family memorial services will be held at a later date. Funeral Directors: Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
