Marti Madsen Willden

Marti Madsen Willden Greenwich, Utah - Our beloved, Marti LeeAnn Madsen Willden, age 28, and her two year old daughter, Skyler Jackie "Kylee" Willden, were tragically taken from us on Monday, September 1, 2003 as the results of an automobile accident on SR 50 west of Aurora, Utah. Marti was born December 16, 1974 in American Fork, Utah, a daughter of Lewis Andrew and Jackie Gooch Madsen. She graduated from Lehi High School, Snow College and Southern Utah University. She married Jason Arthur Willden, August 12, 2000 in Mayfield, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, March 9, 2002. Marti was a Special Ed Teacher. She loved hunting, fishing and children. They are survived by their husband and father, Jason, of Greenwich; daughter and sister, Dakota Marti Willden, Greenwich; son and brother, Lewis W. Willden; mother and grandmother, Jackie G. Madsen. Marti is also survived by three brothers: Andrew Madsen of Draper, Steve Madsen of Salina; Robert Madsen of Cedar City; and her grandmother, Mary Gooch. They are preceded in death by Marti’s father and Kylee's grandfather, Lewis Madsen; and Kylee's other grandfather, Bill Willden. Joint funeral services will be held Saturday, September 6. 2003 at 1:00 P.M. in the Koosharem LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina, Friday evening from 7 to 9 P.M. and Saturday at the ward chapel in Koosharem from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Koosharem Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
