Veronda S. Nichols

Austin, Utah - Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Veronda Llyn Stewart Nichols, age 64, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015 in Richfield, Utah. She was born July 26, 1951 in Tooele, Utah, a daughter of Kenneth E. and Dorothy Irene Beaumont Stewart. She graduated from South Sevier High School, Class of 1969. She married Lonnie Harvey Jacobson, April 6, 1969 in Richfield. Together they had five children. They were later divorced. She married Robert "Bob" William Nichols in Provo, Utah. They were later divorced. Veronda worked at Anne Siesta Villa Rest Home in Springville for 10 years, and at Trojan Explosives in Spanish Fork for 15 years. She was a self-employed Real Estate Appraiser. She lived in Spanish Fork for 40 years and moved to Austin in 2011. She loved the Lord and was a believer in Jesus Christ. Veronda enjoyed doing crafts, cooking, singing, playing games and serving others. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and siblings. She is survived by her children: Corey and Sharmane Jacobson of Springville; Casey and Stacey Jacobson, Amanda Burrows, all of Elsinore; Samantha Jacobson of Draper and Heidi Nichols of Orem; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Calvin and Marlene Stewart of Central Valley; Kelly and Elvie Stewart, Stacey and Steve Marshall, Jody and Jesy Stewart, all of Richfield. She was preceded in death by her parents: Kenneth and Irene Stewart; a son: Jeremy Jacobson; and a brother: David Stewart. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 5:00 P.M. in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel in Richfield, where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
