Virginia M. Crane

Salina, Utah - Virginia Mason Crane, age 87, passed away April 24, 2014 at her home in Salina of causes incident to age. She was born January 28, 1927 in Aurora, Utah, a daughter of Aldon and Sylvia Shaw Mason. She married Garth Clayton Crane, December 18, 1946 in Aurora. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Virginia is survived by her husband, Clayton; children: Larry and Ellen Crane; Cathie Lin Sampson; Shirece and Alvin Owens; 10 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a sister, Valna Joy Wasden. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Homer and Nina Mason; Hilmar and Reba Mason; brother-in-law: Thad Wasden; granddaughter: Theresa Bosshardt; and a great-granddaughter: Macie Dawn Crane. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 12:00 Noon in the Salina LDS Stake Center, 98 West 400 North in Salina, where friends may call for viewing Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Salina Eastside Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
