Aileen Marie Furnal

Monroe, Utah - Our kind and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Aileen Marie Shepherd Furnal, age 84, died November 3, 2013 at the home of her daughter in Monroe. She was born August 15, 1929 in Belvadere, Illinois, a daughter of Alfred Leo and Claribelle Maude Myers Shepherd. She married William (Doug) Farrell, December 28, 1956 in Lemon Grove, California. They were later divorced. She married Raymond Furnal, November 30, 1986 in Spring Valley, California. He died March 24, 2012. Aileen and Ray moved to Monroe in 1985. They enjoyed driving their motor home all over the USA, seeing the sites and enjoying the country. They also went on several cruises. She was a member of the Valley Community Presbyterian Church in Richfield. Aileen is survived by her three daughters: Bonnie Jean Hafdell of Jacumba, California; Barbara Lee and Dennis Robert Schnuphase of Monroe; Susan Marie and Robert E. Sanchez of Spring Valley, California; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Furnal; and a son, William Alfred Farrell. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 2:30 P.M. in the Valley Community Presbyterian Church, 54 East 200 South in Richfield, where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
