Alan D. Jacobson

Elsinore, Utah - Our kind and beloved son, brother, uncle and cousin, Alan D. Jacobson, age 41, of Elsinore, died May 17, 2009 in Salt Lake City from burns that he received in an accident while camping. He was born July 24, 1967 in Richfield, Utah, a son of DeLoy Evan and Barbara Utley Jacobson. He graduated from South Sevier High School and attended Sevier Valley Tech, taking Auto Body classes. Alan was very handy and could fix just about anything. He made several cars from old car parts he found out in the hills around Elsinore. He built his own cabin where he lived in Elsinore. He was so helpful around the house, always willing to fix anything for his mother that needed fixing. He is loved and will be missed. Alan is survived by his mother of Elsinore; his two sisters: Cathy and Dean Jensen of Ogden; Deanne and Phil Jensen of Elsinore; several nieces and nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins. Private family services were held at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield. At his request, Alan’s remains will be cremated and burial will take at a later date in the Joseph Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
