Aleine F. Robinson

May 17, 1925 — January 9, 2006

Richfield, Utah - Wylma Aleine Frakes Robinson, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend left her earthly tabernacle on January 9, 2006 to join her beloved eternal companion, Cline W. Robinson who had passed away October 7, 1997, in Richfield, Utah. She was born in Birmingham, Illinois, May 17, 1925, a daughter of Ray Emmet and Lelia Ann Sanford Frakes. Aleine, as she preferred to be called, and Cline, who had been cremated, were buried together in the Joseph Cemetery on January 14, 2006. Aleine was married to Cline for time only in Elko, Nevada on September 12, 1950. They were married in this life for 47 years. Later she and Cline and their three children: John Ray, Lelia Marlene and Cindy May, were sealed fro time and all eternity in the Los Angeles California Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, on September 16, 1972. In her single and then married life, Aleine lived and made friends in many places in this country, such as Illinois, Colorado, Montana, Arizona, California and Utah. Aleine was a great cook and housekeeper. She loved to be of service, she loved to make the clothes for the grandchildren, to go fishing, to go to yard sales. She loved to go for rides and visit friends, talk on the phone, listen to her talking books. When her vision allowed, she crocheted, embroidered, tri-chem painted, drove, and had a zeal for life. She loved life. She knitted non-stop even when later in the life when she had lost most of her vision. In fact, she had one slipper half done on her needles the day she died. Aleine passed away surrounded by her children at her home in Richfield at the stately age of 80 years old. Those who knew Aleine saw her as a hard worker, who was often seen pulling weekds in her small front yard from her wheelchair. She was a kind, caring, compassionate woman, quick to do what ever was needed for those around her. She was and is deeply loved and will be greatly missed especially for her wicked sense of humor, her determination, her love of others, and her charity. Aleine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cline W. Robinson; a granddaughter, Roxanne R. Lee; two step-grandsons, Andrew Turner and Christopher Turner; a son-in-law: Michael Mogi; her parents, Ray and Lelia Frakes; her brothers, Howard and Richard Frakes; and two sisters: Edith Frakes and Alice Barrett. Aleine is survived by her sister Sylvia and AB Kennedy; and grown children: Don and Carrol Wheelwright of Ogden; John and Connie Robinson of Richfield; Lelia Marlene and Rockne Lee of Norco, California; Cindy Mogi of Richfield; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even some great-great-grandchildren residing around this great country.
