He was born September 23, 1917 in Teasdale, Utah, a son of David Ernest and Hulda Artimisha Allen Turner. He served his country in the US Army during World War II. He married Reeda Smith, August 27, 1946 in Torrey. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple in December of 1950. Reeda died July 29, 1992. He enjoyed fishing with friends and family, rides to Parker Mountain and Fish Lake; more fishing, riding his horse when gathering cows, and riding on his four-wheeler up in the hills.
