Marysvale, Utah - Born to Melba King Bertelson and Guy H. Atwood in Marysvale, Utah.Alice Grew up in Marysvale and took great pride in working at Hill Airforce Base for many years. Our sweet Alice has always been a wild card; there was never a moment without a smart joke or a laugh that warmed your heart, she was the true definition of forever young.She loved to travel, fish, and play a mean game of dice! She adored her family and we couldn’t have been more blessed to have spent many beautiful years of love and laughter with her! She made every day special and she will be greatly missed by many. Alice is survived by Sister: Beverly Thompson Ashland, OR; her two daughters: Shanna (Lincoln) Long Marysvale, UT, Karen (Wayne) Kammerer Yuma, AZ.l; four Grandchildren:Cindy Stanton Marysvale, UT, Nichol (Mike) Eames Menan, ID, John ShropeFredricksberg, VA, Samantha (Mike) Jones Tacoma, WA.; 13 Great Grandchildren: Cassidy and Tyler Stanton Marysvale, UT. Kyle, Ethan, Chayse, Chloey, and Calvin Eames Menan, ID. Mallary (Kaleb) Beck Rexburg, ID. Kayson, Kenzie and Jordyn Kennedy Marysvale, UT.; Andrew and Janie ShropeFredricksburg, VA.; one Great-Great- Grandchild: Roman Beck. She was also survived by many Nieces and Nephews including: Jess (Samantha and Alexander) Atwood, Guy Atwood,Jeff and Duke Atwood, Jan Thompson, TerriStewert, and Beverly Golden. Alice was preceded in death by: Mother Melba and step father Horris “Hoddy”Bertelson, Father Guy Atwood. Brothers: Kieth (Jo) Atwood, Bill Atwood, and Jack Thompson. Nephews: Doug and Gary Atwood, Rod and Atwood,and Grandson: John Stanton In a selfless act of kindness, Alice chose to donate her body to the University of Utah for medical research.
