Andrew Bass

Richfield, Utah – Our beloved son, brother, grandson and friend, John “Andrew” Bass, age 35, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Richfield on August 15, 2021. He was born October 25, 1985 in Orlando, Florida, a son of John Vernon Bass and Linda Sue Rhea. He graduated with honors from Buckeye Union High School, Class of 2004 in Buckeye, Arizona and went on to get his nursing degree. He worked as a Registered Nurse in Phoenix, Arizona for 7 years. Andrew moved to Richfield in 2012 where he became very involved in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed serving in the Young Singles Ward in Richfield and going to the Temple in Manti. Andrew loved golfing, snowboarding and playing tennis. He will be greatly missed and remembered for his kindness, positivity and gentle nature. Andrew is survived by his loving mother, Linda Rhea of Richfield; siblings: John “Adam” Bass of Surprise, Arizona and Ashley Rhea of Tucson, Arizona; Lori Bass and Tony Bass, both of California; his grandmother, Corinne Patton of Oklahoma; aunts and uncles, Lynn and Mel Morgan, Peggy and Bill Mahoney, all of Florida; and a special cousin, Shannon Carrow of Florida. He is preceded in death by a sister, Amber Lynn Bass. A Celebration Of Life for Andrew will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 starting at 5:00 P.M. at the Richfield Lion’s Park North Pavilion under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
