Anna Dean Baker

March 10, 1933 — November 24, 2006

Fremont, Utah - Anna Dean Taylor Baker, age 73, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, died November 24, 2006 in Upland, California of complications from pancreatic cancer. She was born March 10, 1933 in Fremont, Utah, a daughter of David Alvin and Julia Anna Morrell Taylor. She graduated from Wayne High School and attended BYU for one year and Snow College for one year. Anna Dean married Seth Claud Baker December 4, 1953 in the Manti LDS Temple. She was generous to a fault. She enjoyed her home and family, sewing, quilting, gardening, coin collecting, Christmas, fashion and color coordination. She loved to spend time at her family home in Fremont. She was a member of the LDS Church, and was actively involved in church and temple work. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Seth Baker, of Ontario, CA; children: Beverly and Randy Farland of Provo, Utah; David Seth and Julie Baker, Evan Claud and Jill Baker, all of Rancho Cucomonga, CA; Douglas Taylor and Robin Baker of Upland, CA; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother and sister: Vance Taylor, De Ila and Craig Chappell, all of Fremont. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, Alvin Taylor, Evan Taylor, Don Taylor and Merle Taylor. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 1, 2006 at 12 Noon in the Old Rock Church in Fremont, where friends may call for viewing Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Fremont Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
