Aurora, Utah - Annette Marie Slagowski, age 44, unexpectedly returned to the arms of our Heavenly Father on March 10, 2011 at her home in Aurora. She was born July 10, 1966 in Twin Falls, Idaho, a daughter of Roy Dee and Ethel Ann Booth Conner. Annette attended Filer High School in Filer, Idaho, where she excelled in Track and Field. She moved to Wendover, Utah after high school and went to work for the West Wendover City Reclamation Plant. Annette worked at the plant for 18 years and became the Supervisor of the water treatment lab. While living in Wendover, Annette met Elwyn Lyle Slagowski (Slugger) and they were married March 21, 1998. They moved and made their home in Aurora, Utah. Together, they raised two wonderful children: Bret and Amber Sue. After moving to Aurora, Annette began working for the assisted living center of the Beehive Homes in Richfield. She will be deeply missed, by the residents, because of the loving care, kind words and the steadfast devotion that she provided. Annette loved gardening and interior decorating. She enjoyed camping with her father and fishing with her true soul mate, Slugger. Annette also loved all five of her grandchildren and was very happy when they came to visit, or better yet, when she could entice them to stay for an extended period of time, especially during Christmas. Annette is survived by her loving husband, Elwyn “Slugger” Slagowski of Aurora; her mother, Ethel Ann and Tom Kunkel of Rogerson, Idaho; her children: Bret and Camie Richardson of Tooele; Amber Richardson of Ogden; her five grandchildren, which were the joy of her life: Damian, Dillen, Alley, Kaden and Olivia; her brothers: Jeffrey and Mary Conner of Hollister, Idaho; Berry Jean and Shelly Conner of Filer, Idaho; Roy D. Jr. And Tracy Conner of West Wendover; Dion Conner of Twin Falls, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Dee Conner.
