Ardeth C. Linfor Richfield, Utah - Ardeth Conder Linfor, age 75, passed away March 8, 2004 in Richfield, Utah. She was born October 6, 1928 in Monroe, Utah, a daughter of Leao and Sarah Marintha Marble Conder. She attended Monroe High School, Class of 1946. She married John “Jack” Eugene Linfor, November 17, 1946 in Ruth, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple, December 15, 1989. Ardeth was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in various auxiliaries. She was a visiting teacher and compassionate service leader. She was on the Relief Society Planning Board, served as a Den Mother and worked in the Family History Center. She was active in the Senior Citizens Organization and was instrumental in starting a Diabetes Support Group and was a member of the Eastern Star. Ardeth enjoyed crocheting, knitting, family photos, anything to do with her family and her friends. She is survived by her husband, Jack Linfor of Richfield; children: Dixie Jean and Sam Epps of Woodstock, Georgia; Michael John Linfor of Richfield; Robin Arthur and Shary Linfor of Crescent City, California; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother: Lee Verl and Gale Conder of Richfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter: Mercedes Linfor; two brothers and two sisters: Vance Conder, Ned Conder, Ruby Howes and Marsella Allgood. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 12, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. in the Richfield 8th LDS Ward Chapel, located at 200 East Center in Richfield. Friends may visit with the family at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and at the ward chapel Friday from 11:30 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Diabetes Foundation or a charity of your choice.
