Austin "Festus" Allen

Sigurd, Utah - Our beloved Daddy, Son, Brother and Uncle, Austin "Festus" Allen, age 26, of Sigurd, passed away March 23, 2019 in Richfield, of complications from diabetes. He was born July 6, 1992 in Richfield, Utah, a son of James Mont and Maria Caroline Schuster Allen. He graduated from Canyon View High School, Class of 2010. He married Kimberly Wrigley August 16, 2014 in Sigurd, Utah. They were later divorced. He drove truck for K and K Crane Trucking for four years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, working on diesels and spending time with his family and friends. Festus is survived by his two children: Nikki Allen and Vilo Allen, both of Sigurd; his father, James Allen of Sigurd; siblings: JJ and Kandi Allen of Richfield; John-Morgan Hampton of Salt Lake City; Nina and Jon Renner of Arkansas; Jamie Marston, Jessica and Teryl Harman, all of Richfield; Jaleessa Allen of Sigurd; his girlfriend, Amber Averett of Sigurd. He is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Schuster; a brother, Jason Hoth; his grandparents: Vilo and LaRae Allen; and an aunt, Linda Johnston. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Thursday from 12:00 Noon to 1:30 P.M. prior to the services. Burial will take place at a later date in the Sigurd Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
