Salina, Utah - Beth LaRene Barker returned to our Heavenly father on Sunday, March 12, 2017 in Centerfield, Utah, after a long battle with several chronic illnesses. On this day she was reunited with her loved ones who preceded her in death, her husband Harold Barker, her parents, Keogh and Vontess Jensen, her son Gary Jensen, her great grandson Carter Lynn Shelley, her nephew Karl Jensen, her brother Lynn Jensen, her sisters: Phyliss Thiessens, Elaine Kesler, and Velma Oviatt. Beth was born May 4, 1932 in Axtell, UT to Keogh and Rebecca Vontess Hales Jensen. She married Harold Adair Barker on December 5, 1959 in Elko, Nevada. She was later sealed to her husband and children for time and eternity on December 19, 1972 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Beth was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she will be truly missed by all who knew her. Harold preceded her in death on August 24, 2000. Beth is survived by her children: Neal (Connie) Jensen of Santaquin, Lola Jensen of Redmond, Becky (Kent) Olsen, Vonnie (Jim) Casto, all of Salina, Brian (Ruth) Barker of Salt Lake City; 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; her siblings Ellen Kay (Powell) Johnson of Murray, John Lee (Luane) Jensen of South Jordan, Paul (Linda) Jensen of Herriman, Allen (Louise) Jensen of Redmond, Steve (Lorilee) Jensen of Richfield, her numerous nieces and nephews and all of her extended family. Graveside services will be held on Saturday March 25, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Redmond Cemetery, Redmond, Utah. All are welcome to come and pay their last respects to this wonderful lady who brought life, light and love into the lives of everyone she met.
