Betty Lewis

Redmond, Utah - Betty Dennison Lewis, age 76, of Redmond, died July 30, 2007 in Richfield. She was born July 22, 1931, in Sterling, Utah, a daughter of Merlin and Lila Swenson Dennison. She graduated from Manti High School. Betty married her lifetime sweetheart, Adelbert “Dell” Lewis on March 15, 1950 in the Manti LDS Temple. Dell died December 4, 2005. She served in the Relief Society, Primary and in the Young Women organization of the LDS church and had various positions in all. She loved to bake, sew, work in her garden, and go camping. She loved doing “anything” with Dell. Betty will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she has touched. She is survived by her children: Glen and Natalie Lewis of Aurora; Pauline and Charles Keeran of Las Vegas, NV; Mark and Charmaine Lewis of Redmond; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and her sister Faye Christiansen of Salt Lake City, Ut; brother-in-law: Carl and Ramona Lewis of Redmond. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law: Murrey Jack Edwards; a grandson: Travis Charles Keeran; three brothers and 1 sister. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 3, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. in the Redmond 1st LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina, Thursday evening from 7 to 9 P.M. or at the ward chapel in Redmond Friday morning from 11:30 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Redmond Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
