Betty was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She and Mel grew to love the people of Nuie Island, while they served in the New Zealand Auckland Mission. This was a cherished experience for them both. Betty was gifted with many talents. She loved to oil paint and left many pieces for us to remember her by. She played piano, had a beautiful voice and could accomplish anything she set her mind to. Betty loved her family and took great joy in knowing what they were all up to and celebrating their many accomplishments.
