Betty Muriel Crabtree

Betty Crabtree Bicknell, Utah - Betty Muriel Sherman Crabtree, age 81, passed away peacefully at her home in Bicknell on Monday, September 6, 2004. She was born June 8, 1923 in Sidney, Montana, a daughter of Harry August and Verda Ethel Grandstaff Sherman. She graduated from Sidney High School, Class of 1941. She married Charles William Crabtree, April 5, 1942 in Sidney. He died April 6, 1992. After her husband died, Betty moved to Bicknell, where she has since resided. She was a member of the Lutheran faith. Betty enjoyed fishing, gardening, knitting, crocheting baking and sewing. Betty is survived by her two children: Gary Lee and Jerry Crabtree of Oak Harbor, Washington; Shari Lynn Skau of Bicknell; a sister, JoAnn Foss and a brother, Frank Sherman, both of Culbertson, Montana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Verda Sherman; her husband, Charles William Crabtree; a son, Dennie Crabtree; and a brother, Bud Sherman. At her request, Betty’s remains were cremated and burial took place in the Sidney, Montana Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
