Aurora, Utah - Our kind and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Beverly Ann Hill Hansen, age 73, passed away January 5, 2019 at her home in Aurora. She was born May 14, 1945 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Kenneth J. and Valerie Fullmer Hill. She graduated from Davis High School, Class of 1963. She married the love of her life, Gary Reed Hansen April 18, 1969 in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on July 23, 2014. Beverly was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as a Primary Teacher, Young Women's Leader, Gospel Doctrine Teacher, Cub Scout Leader and many other positions. After Gary retired from the Ogden City Fired Department in 1976, the family moved to Antimony where they lived for the next 28 years. They started a family business called Otter Creek Wooden Crafts, where they made wooden toys and children's furniture, that they sold all over the western United States. They left Antimony and moved to Aurora in 2005. Beverly was a member of the D.U.P. Camp Willowbend in Aurora, and served as President for four years. She enjoyed all sports, especially basketball and volley ball, where she coached her children's teams. She was an avid fisherman and loved to go fishing. She enjoyed raising a big garden every year and sharing it with her family and neighbors. Beverly is survived by her children: Craig and Christine Hansen of Farr West; Lynnette Hansen of Enoch; Kristi Ann Hansen of Aurora; Katie Lynne and Korry Jourdain of Parowan; Garrett Layne and Tine Hansen of Clinton; Michael Geoffrey and Kathryn Hansen of Elsinore; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 sister: LuJean and Dean Earnshaw of Bountiful. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Hansen; three children: Pamela Jean Reno, Ted Cannon Hansen and Jennifer Lynn Hansen; two grandsons: Robert Edward Huntsman and Joseph Korry Jourdain; and three brothers: Vernon F. Hill, Ruel Hill and Jay Hill. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 at 12:00 Noon in the Aurora 1st LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Aurora City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
