Beverly Jean Schubert

Beverly Jean Schubert, 77, an awesome and loving mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, passed away on May 14, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Beverly was born on September 28, 1937, in Burlington, Iowa. Beverly graduated from Burlington High School and worked for the telephone company as an operator. She married Marvin Keith Schubert on October 10, 1955, and had two children, Jean and Marvin Jr. Beverly and her family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in August 1969 and resided there until her passing. Beverly worked for many employers, including Grand Central, K R Welding Supply, Allergy and Associates, and she also sold real estate. Beverly and her husband had a second home in Joseph Utah. They spent as much time as possible there after retirement. She really enjoyed spending time on the porch enjoying the view and the slower pace of life. She loved spending time with friends and family. She spent many hours reading and working puzzle books. Beverly is survived by her daughter Jean; son Marvin Jr; three grandchildren, Chance Schubert, David Hanson and Danny Hanson; two sisters, Sherry Brown (John) of Middletown Iowa, Ruth Wallingford (Wally) of Mt Pleasant, Iowa; two brothers, Clayton James Gohn of Middletown, Iowa and Mervin Gohn (Lori) of West Burlington, Iowa. There are also several step brothers and sisters. She is pre-deceased by her husband Marvin, her parents, Carl Valentine and Elizabeth Judd Gohn. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 21. Visitation begins at 12:00 PM and services will follow at 1:00 PM at Springer Turner Funeral Home, 260 North 400 West in Richfield, Utah. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery under the care of Spinger Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, and Salina.
