Billy A. Pay

July 10, 1949 — August 16, 2007

Centerfield, Utah - Our kind and beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Billy Allen Pay, age 58, died August 16, 2007 in Gunnison, Utah, of a heart attack. He was born July 10, 1949 in Payson, Utah, a son of William Fowkes and Fay LaJune Collard Pay. Billy graduated from Juab High School, Class of 1967. He served in the US Army during the Viet Nam Conflict until 1971. He married Jacqueline Margie Winn, July 16, 1983 in Centerfield, Utah. Billy enjoyed fishing, camping, four-wheeling, spending time with his sons and grandchildren. He worked for Robinson Trucking in Salina and thoroughly loved driving his big rig, which he called his ”girl friend”. He is survived by his wife of Centerfield; children:Todd Allen and Jessica Pay of Moroni; Tony Richard Pay of Nephi; Nathan William Pay of Centerfield; Elder Jack DeVon Pay, currently serving an LDS Mission in Thunderbay, Canada; 5 grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Ellen and Ned Anderson of Pocatello, ID; Grant and Laurie Pay of Santaquin; NaDeen Chappell of Henderson, NV; Sandra Pay, Karen Craigmiles and Linda Pay, all of Salt Lake City; Larry and Christina Pay, and Jeff Pay, all of Nephi; brothers-in-law: Barth Winn of Mayfield; Scott Malmgren of Salina; mother-in-law: Patsy Winn of Centerfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Fay Pay; a daughter, Tina Marie Pay; two brothers: James Pay and Glen Pay and a sister-in-law: Lori Ann Malmgren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the Centerfield 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Monday evening from6 to 8P.M. or again Tuesday morning from9:30 to10:30 prior to the services. Burial with military honors accorded by the Oliver Russell American Legion Post #105 will be in the Centerfield Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
