Bob Petty

Salina, Utah - Robert Arnold Petty, age 56, of Salina, died February 25, 2006 in Provo, Utah. He was born August 10, 1949 in Cedar City, Utah, a son of Clair and Lillian Marie McDonald Petty. Robert attended Murray High School. He served in the United States Marines and was member of the LDS Church. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and he loved to build bird houses. He married Utahna Brown, September 16, 2002 in Junction, Utah. He is survived by his wife of Salina; stepson: Ronnie Brewer of Richfield; 2 step-grandchildren; sister: Lillian Marie and Bud Jones of West Valley City; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gaylord Petty. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 3, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West in Richfield. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina, Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and at the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel in Richfield, Friday morning form 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial with military honors accorded by the Salina American Legion Post #36 will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
