Bonnie Rae Bell

June 1, 1931 — June 1, 2018

Greenwich, Utah - Bonnie Rae Willden Bell passed away peacefully June 1, 2018, her 87th birthday, at the Milford Memorial Hospital. She was born June 1, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of Warren Holt and Marvel Isabelle Petro Willden. She was the fourth child in a family of eight children. Bonnie married Francis Renshaw and to this marriage her son, Bobby was born. Bobby was killed in the Viet Nam War at the age of 19. Bonnie married Sherrill Don Cloward and was blessed with five girls. Don was tragically killed on the 33rd birthday leaving Bonnie a widow. One year later, Bonnie lost her 12 year old daughter, Dorene in a tragic fall. Bonnie raised her 4 daughters who became her best friends. After 14 years alone, Bonnie married Merrill Bell. With this marriage came five step-children and several grandchildren who blessed her life. When Merrill passed away, Bonnie continued on being happy and grateful for everything she had. Bonnie battled melanoma for fourteen years and beat it. She remained faithful and grateful for her Heavenly Father. Bonnie was sealed to her husband, Don and her children in the Manti LDS Temple. She loved her family, quilting, sewing, canning, ceramics, the American Flag and her home in Greenwich. Bonnie is survived by her children: Donna and Robert Romine, Virginia and Kevin Knapp, Cheryl and Russell Horton, Vesta and Lee Casteel; grandchildren, Robbie, Brandon, Kristy, Melissa, Cassie, Amanda, Racheal, Jared, Jason and Gary; 29 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; step-children: Merilyn (Merz, deceased) Hugentobler, Beneti and Gaylen Schaugaard, Verl and Mary Bell, Janet and Randy Gleave, Susan and Ed Bender, and all of their children and grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Dee Willden, Donna Corwin, Pete Willden; brother-in-law: Tom Hamburg and her good friend, Yvonne Bagley. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; son, Bobby; and daughter, Dorene; siblings: Louis Willden, Ernie Willden, Richard Taldo and Esther Hamburg. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Gunnison Home Health, Connie and the Milford Memorial Hospital, for all the loving care given to Bonnie. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 8, 2018 at 12 Noon in the Koosharem LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Junction Cemetery Friday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
