Brandon D. Taylor

Roy/Hanksville, Utah - Brandon Dexter Taylor, age 30, of Roy, died August 26, 2005 in Ogden, Utah. He was born November 29, 1974 in Richfield, Utah, a son of Dexter Vern and Bonnie Joyce Noyes Taylor. He graduated from Granite High School, Class of 1992. He served in the United States Army for six years. Brandon married Rachel Bair, May 20, 1998 in Lawton, Oklahoma. They were later divorced. He was a member of the LDS Church. Brandon was working as a computer techinician for Convergys in Ogden. He is survived by his two children: Heaven Leigh Taylor and Robert Richard Taylor, both of Jacksonville, North Carolina; his parents: Bonnie Southard of Hanksville; Dexter Taylor of Torrey; step-father, Dale Southard of Midvale; brother and sisters: Dillon Taylor of West Virginia; Tristin Southard of Midvale; Tara Southard of Salt Lake City; grandparents: Dick and Joan Taylor of Fremont; Harriett (Charles, deceased) Noyes of Hanksville; Dolly (Wm. Dean, deceased) Southard of Roy; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may visit with the family at an open house on Thursday, September 1, 2005 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Clinton LDS Ward Chapel, 702 West 1300 North in Clinton, Utah. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 3, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. in the Hanksville LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Saturday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 prior the services. Burial with military honors accorded by the Harold Brown American Legion Post #92 will be in the Hanksville Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
