Brett W. Nelson

Salina, Utah - Brett W. Nelson, age 50, of Salina, died September 3, 2008 at his home in Salina, after a valiant battle with lung cancer. He was born February 28, 1958 in Salina, a son of William Boyd and Doris Lorraine Neilsen Nelson. He married maria Bernadette “Rusti” Berry, October 20, 1995 in Park City, Utah. Brett worked as a coal miner and a farmer. He was a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by his wife of Salina; children: Beau and katie Nelson of Las Vegas, Nevada; Devin Nelson and Shyanne Nelson, both of Salina; his best buddy, Opee Nelson of Salina. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 12 Noon in the Salina LDS Stake Center, 98 West 400 North in Salina, where friends may call for viewing Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Tuesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Salina Eastside Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
