Brian L. Edwards

Richfield, Utah - Our kind and beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, Brian Lee Edwards, age 55, of Richfield, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 in Provo, after a yearlong battle with cancer. He was born October 7, 1963 in Phoenix, Arizona, a son of Gene Barrington and Emma Yvonne Levie Edwards. Brian spent his early years in Arizona and Texas. In 1981 he married Cynthia Perez in La Marque, Texas. They were later divorced. He later married Karen Maurine Snedeger on June 20, 2012 in the Manti LDS Temple. Brian was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved the scriptures and studied them often. He enjoyed giving to different charities. He loved his family and loved music, playing the guitar, riding his Harley and being outdoors, and taking his boat out. Brian worked in construction, worked as a chef and for the past 10 years, worked for Robinson Transport in Salina. He will be greatly missed. Brian is survived by his wife, Karen, of Richfield; his son: Lee A. Edwards of Salina; his parents: Gene and Phyllis Edwards of Salina; step-children: Kirstie and Marcus Anderson, Kade Deaton, all of Richfield; 9 grandchildren; his siblings: Emma Jean and Mike Newman of Bountiful; Rodney and Michelle Edwards of San Tan Valley, Arizona; parents-in-law: Mark and Anna Snedeger of Richfield. He is preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Levie Edwards. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 26, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Richfield 6th LDS Ward Chapel, 10 South 200 East in Richfield. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or at the 6th Ward Chapel on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
