Brody Joss Harwood

Salina, Utah - Our precious and beloved son, brother, grandson, great-grandson and great-great-grandson, Brody Joss Harwood, age 3, passed away May 14, 2008 at his home in Salina, surrounded by his family. He was born May 26, 2004 in Provo, Utah, a son of Gregory Joss and Amie Kai Palfreyman Harwood. Through tear filled eyes and broken hearts, family and friends said good-bye to one of the most amazing spirits to ever grace this earth. Brody’s valiant fight against a rare medical condition showed us all what it really means to endure to the end and to show unconditional love. He touched so many lives in his short life, and changed us all for the better. He was an incredible spirit and we will miss him terribly. We feel so honored that we were able to have him in our lives. He was our “Schubby Buddy”. To see Brody was to truly witness a miracle. We’ll miss his cheesy smile, the twinkle in his eyes, the stubby little fingers and tiny toes. We’ll miss the way his presence made us feel closer to God. His perfect spirit was too big for this world. We’ll see you in Heaven, our Sweet Angel Boy. He is survived by his parents of Salina; a sister, Kaybri Harwood of Salina; grandparents: Greg and Lori Harwood of Salina; Arlishia McCoy of Central Valley; great-grandparents: Niles and Glenna Manwill of Central Valley; Doug and Beverly Meacham of Monroe; Karen Harwood of Bountiful; great-great-grandmothers: Elinor Burningham of Bountiful; Catherine Sorensen of Elsinore; numerous aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in the Salina LDS Stake Center, 98 West 400 North in Salina, where friends may call for viewing Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Salina Eastside Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
