Bud Snyder

Salina, Utah - Joseph Franklin "Bud" Snyder, age 81, passed away January 16, 2014, in Richfield, Utah. Bud was born December 12, 1932 in Whiterocks, Utah, a son of Joseph Newell and Mary LaVern Allen Snyder. He was the great-great-grandson of Utah Pioneer Samuel Comstock. Bud graduated from Roosevelt High School and went on to play basketball at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. Bud was an avid outdoorsman and love to go out fishing any chance he had. He is survived by his two daughters: Tammy Varney and Debbie Snarr of Salt Lake City; two nieces, Leslie Hermansen and Shiela Farley; 8 grandcihldren: Jamie Lee, Kristy, Adam, April, Jessica, Dustin, Jordan and Erica; and 9 beautiful great-grandchildren; and his life time best friend, Vance Nye of Bountiful, Utah. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Don and Lyle; two daughters: Rese Marie Jensen and Kaelynne Wendel; and two nephews: Kyle and Scott Snyder.
