Carl E. Torgerson

Koosharem, Utah - Carl E. Torgerson, age 57, passed away at home in Koosharem on September 23, 2020. He was born on September 13, 1963 to Sidney DeOn and Shirley Ann Johnson Torgerson. Carl donated one of his kidneys to his brother Wayne when he was 21 years old. He worked in Mesquite, Nevada dealing Black Jack and then becoming a Pit Boss for 20 years. Then he moved back to Koosharem and worked for Sorenson Ranch for a few years. Then he began to get health problems so that he could no longer work. Carl is survived by his mother: Shirley Torgerson Shaw of Koosharem and his sister Vicki (Jeff) Anderson of Richfield. He is preceded in death by his father, Sidney DeOn Torgerson and brother, Wayne Torgerson. We will miss and love you forever. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Koosharem Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. Burial will be in the Koosharem Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
