Carol Ann Hutchings Nite, age 71, passed away May 10, 2022 in Centerfield. She was born January 20, 1951 in Alamosa, Colorado, a daughter of Duffie LeRoy and Oma Lillian Bankston Hutchins. She grew up in New Mexico and graduated from high school there. She married James Ronald Nite September 17, 1976 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage as solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple November 9, 1978. James preceded her in death on November 13, 2017. Carol is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many different callings. She worked at the Manti and the Mesa Arizona Temples and loved doing temple work. Carol enjoyed growing both flower and veggie gardens, canning the veggies and painting ceramics. She is survived by her children: Oma Elizabeth Nite of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Ronda Ann Nite of West Jordan; Kallie and Dave Erickson of Salina; Shanna Olmstead of Richfield; 8 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Daniel Olmstead. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mission at Community Living for all their love and care of Carol during the last 10 years. Thanks to Shara Olsen and Hollie Draper for being the best hospice nurses with Intermountain Health Care. At her request, her remains have been cremated and burial will take place at a later date in Colorado under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
