Eagle Mountain/Salina, Utah - Our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Carol Sue Carlson Prows, age 73, died September 18, 2010 at her home in Eagle Mountain. She was born November 20, 1936 in Salina, Utah, a daughter of Glen M. and Pearl Sabra Jensen Carlson. She graduated from North Sevier High School, Class of 1955. She married Franklin D. Prows, June 1, 1955 in Salina, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, February 18, 1966. Frank died April 8, 2000. Carol Sue worked many years at Wells Fargo Bank. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving faithfully in many callings. She was an avid fan of the BYU Cougars and the San Francisco 49ers. She enjoyed traveling, camping and hiking in the Utah Mountains. She is survived by her children: Michael Dail Prows, John Eric and Kimberli Prows, all of Eagle Mountain; Jeffree Moroni and Jennifer Prows of Murray; Lisa P. and Robert B. Loosle of Mexico City, Mexico; Mark Franklin and Kimberly Prows of Salt Lake City; 17 grandchildren; brothers and sisters: DeEtte Carter of Houser, Idaho; Glenda Mordfelt of West Valley City; Dick Carlson of Cedar City; Margo Harward of Nampa, Idaho; Jenette Savage of Orem; Kendal Carlson of Denver, Colorado; Fred Carlson of Syracuse; Debbie Lang of Kaysville; Wendy Mortenser of Meridian, Idaho; Kerry Mansfield of American Fork and Rob Carlson of Orem. She was preceded in death by a son, David Prows; her husband, Franklin D. Prows and her parents, Pearl Sabra and Glen M. Carlson. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 2 P.M. in the Salina 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 85 South 100 East in Salina. Friends may call for viewing at the Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main Street in Lehi, Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Thursday morning at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina, from 12:30 to 1:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
