Salina, Utah - Carolyn Ada Anderson Jensen, age 74, died January 19, 2009 at her home in Salina. She was born December 29, 1934 in Rollapp, Utah, a daughter of Archie Paul and Adelia Sidwell Anderson. She grew up in Manti, Utah and graduated from Manti High School, Class of 1953. She married Willard Melvin Jensen, February 3, 1956 in Elko, Nevada. He died December 21, 1984. Carolyn and Mel owned and operated Mom’s Café in Salina for many years. Carolyn was active in the Salina Jaycettes. She was a member of the LDS Church. Carolyn is survived by her brother, Boyd and his wife, Marilyn Anderson of Salina; two grandchildren: Misti Cook and Lacey Jensen, both of Salt Lake City; 4 great-grandchildren with one more on the way. She was preceded in death by her two children: William Paul Jensen and Janone Ada Jensen; and a brother, Donald K. Anderson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. in the Salina LDS Stake Center, 98 West 400 North in Salina, where friends may call for viewing Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Saturday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
