Carolyn Ruth Kennon

Koosharem, Utah – Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Carolyn Ruth Wagy Kennon, age 81, passed away September 26, 2021 in Richfield. She was born June 8, 1940 in Kern County, California, a daughter of Kistler and Ruth Wagy. She graduated from San Rafael High School, Class of 1958. She married James Ollie Kennon March 17, 1961 in Reno, Nevada. He preceded her in death February 19, 2010. Carolyn lived in Koosharem for over 20 years and moved to Monroe 3 years ago. She loved to read, embroidery and listen to music. She will be greatly missed. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Janet Jacobsen, grandchildren: Stephanie Kirtley, Eric Kirtley, Heather and Kaae Colby, all of Richfield; as well as relatives in California and Oregon. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kistler and Ruth Wagy; and her husband, James Ollie Kennon. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Richfield City Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
