Carolyn Sue Gunter

Monroe, Utah - Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Carolyn Sue Gunter, age 73 of Monroe, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on August 29, 2019, in Richfield, 1 day before her 74th birthday. She was born August 30, 1945 in San Diego, California to Mary Stephenson. She was raised and went to school in San Diego. She married John Terry Gunter in San Diego. They had three children. He passed away October 10, 2014. Carolyn was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed sewing and reading. She loved her dogs and loved being a grandma and playing with her grandkids and great-grandkids. Carolyn worked for and retired from Harkon Sheet Metal Company for more than 20 years as Book Keeper. She is survived by her children: John Gunter of Monroe; Kenny Gunter of Vernal and Shari Gunter of Wichita Falls, Texas; her grandchildren: James Gunter of Richfield; Kirk Gunter of Monroe; Cassandra Gunter of Iowa; Jennifer and Richard Hooten of Grand Junction, Colorado; Wyatt Guner; and 3 great-grandkids. Private family services were held at the Springer Turner Funeral Home and burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
