Cathy Willis

Manti, Utah - Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Cathleen Collyer Willis, age 75, passed peacefully away in the early morning hours of Monday, April 4, 2016 at her home in Manti. She was born August 14, 1940 in Seattle, Washington, a daughter of Percy Luther and Darlene Mae Doble Collyer. She married James Jackson Savage in 1960 in Provo, Utah. They had two children and later divorced. Cathy married Kay Marvin Willis, December 11, 2003 in Richfield, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple in February of 2007. Kay died May 17, 2015. Cathy is survived by her two children: James Collyer and Marcy Savage of Spring City, Utah; Shauna and Michael O'Connor of Bothell, Washington; step-children: Linda and Dale Larson of Cannonville; Merrill and Karen Willis, Russell and Sandra Willis, all of Chubbuck, Idaho; Lorena nd Peggy Willis, Juli and Clark Spendlove, all of Las Vegas, Nevada; Beverly (Bob Syrett, deceased) and Jay Marshall of Price; Mechelle Page of Panguitch; 37 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Maureen (deceased) and Dee Bliss of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Thomas and Robyn Collyer of Onalaska, Washington; Christine Collyer of Clarksville, Tennessee; Charleen Collyer of Nampa, Idaho; Pauline and Richard Leukenga of Richfield, Utah; and John Collyer of Seattle, Washington. She is preceded in death by her parents, and also a sister, Coleen Collyer Eyre. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 12:00 Noon in the Manti City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
