Fayette, Utah - On April 17, 2010, our beloved husband, son, father and friend, Chanley ā€œCā€ Christensen, age 43, was called home to rest. He was born February 19, 1967 in San Mateo, California, a son of Anthony Neale and Judy Ann Peterson Christensen. He graduated from North Sevier High School, Class of 1985. He attended SUU in Cedar City for two years in Business Administration. He married Cynthia Evans, May 21, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chanley was a member of the LDS Church and an Eagle Scout. He was the owner of North Canyon Stone, a stone cutting business, for the past 14 years. He enjoyed prospecting, four-wheeling, hunting and camping and target practicing, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed so much by all who loved him. He is survived by his wife of Fayette; his children: Shane Christensen and Jessica Ann Christensen, both of Fayette; Tasha and Ben Gresham of Cedar City; Nicole and Tommy Shannon of Parowan; 2 grandchildren: Luke Gresham and Joey Gresham, both of Cedar City; his mother, Judy Ann Christensen of Aurora; his father, Anthony Neale and Vicky Christensen of Lost Creek. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Al A. and Afton Peterson; Anthony and Sadie Christensen. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 23, 2010 at 12 Noon in the Aurora 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 85 North Main Street, where friends may call for viewing Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Aurora City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
