Chantell Keala Ha'O

Chantell Keala Ha’o, 42, of West Valley City, UT passed away unexpectedly July 27, 2019 of complications from surgery. Chantell was born April 5, 1977 in Honolulu, Hawaii where she was raised in a little town on the west side called Nanakuli. She later moved to Utah in 2005 and finally settled in West Valley City. She was the manager for Security Finance for 8 years and became family to her co-workers and customers as well. She was easy to love and left a great impact on people she came in contact with. She was the epitome of a person with a heart of gold. She is survived by her daughter Brooke-Ambree Terry, granddaughter Ava-Jade Terry, and son-in-law Colten Terry. Her parents, David and Germaine Ha’o, siblings, Daralyn Numera (Tama), Jason Ha’o (Moana), Joshua Ha’o (Tami), Deserie Ha’o, David Ha’o Jr. (Mandee), Nelson Ha’o (Katie), many nieces, nephews and God children whom she loved dearly and spoiled endlessly, and numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends who all love her very much. Services will be held at Springer Turner Funeral Home at 260 N 400 W Richfield, UT 84701 on Saturday August 10, 2019. Open viewing is 9:00-11:30am. Services start promptly at 12:00pm and there will be a luncheon to follow for close friends and family at 3:00pm. Contributions in memory of Chantell may be made to Mountain America Credit Union acct#11645757, through Venmo @chantellmemoria1, or there is a GoFundMe set up to help cover funeral costs and excessive medical bills.
