Charlene Christiansen

Redmond, Utah Charlene Ide Christiansen, age 75, of Redmond, died March 30, 2014 in Prove, Utah. She was born March 25, 1939 in Price, Utah, a daughter of Charles Lemuel and Edna Lanor Day Ide. Charlene attended Price High School and graduated in the class of 1957. She went on to attend and graduate from beauty school. She married Bard Christiansen, July 24, 1961 in Elko, Nevada. She was a member of the LDS Church. Charlene loved spending time with her family, and her dogs. She loved being outdoors where she liked fishing, camping, or gardening. She was a wonderful cook and canner. She will be missed by her family and those who knew her. She is survived by her children: Pat and Tammy Christiansen of Pleasant Grove; Carl and Christi Christiansen of Bluffdale; Joyce Christiansen of Eagle Mtn.; grandchildren: Bard Christiansen, Nicky and Troy Flacker, all of Pleasant Grove; Ashley and Joey Mack of West Valley City; John and Jenny Christiansen of Bluffdale; Carly Christiansen of West Valley City; Emily Christiansen of West Jordan; Chad and Brandie Bray of Eagle Mtn.; Shannon Bray and Troy Erickson of West Jordan; Jason Bray of Herriman; great-grandsons: Teegun Erickson of West Jordan and Ayden Mack of West Valley City; sister Lanor Jensen of Ferron; niece Geraldine Jensen of Ferron. She was proceeded in death by both of her parents; her husband Bard Christiansen; her grandson Larry Christiansen; her brother Rex Ide. Private family services will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014, 1:00PM in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel at 150 East Main, Salina, Utah. Grave side services will be held at the Redmond Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
