Charlie Hansen

Layton/Richfield, Utah - Our kind and loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Sharlene Clarice Gross Bradley Riddle Hansen, age 71, died February 5, 2014 in Layton, Utah, after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born December 29, 1942 in Tremonton, Utah, a daughter of John Edgar and Ida Mae Payne Gross. Charlie graduated from Bountiful High School, Class of 1960. She married LeGrand J. Bradley, May 23, 1961 in North Salt Lake City, Utah. They were later divorced. She married Glenn R. Riddle, June 23, 1995 in Richfield, Utah. He died November 3, 2000. She married James D. Hansen, July 6, 2002. He died September 16, 2012. Charlie lived in Woods Cross and Bountiful for 11 years. She moved to Richfield and live there for 18 years, and then moved up to Layton to be with her daughters in her final months. Charlie was a member of the Richfield Elks Lodge #2420 for 9 years, where she served as Public Relations Director. Charlie enjoyed working in her yards, doing arts and crafts, photo albums and yard decorations. She is survived by her children: Mickie Jolene and Scott Moore of Salt Lake City; Jada Marie Bradley, Tina Clarice and Troy Peterson, all of Layton; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Bonnie and Ross Campbell of Farmington; John and Marie Gross of Washington; Jack Gross of Salt Lake City; Mark and Lori Knighton of West Haven; numerous step-children and step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Brad Wayne Bradley; a sister, Carol R. Burns; and her parents. Grave side services will be held Monday, February 10, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in the Farmington City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
