Cheryl Chavis

Sandy, Utah - Our beloved mother, grandmother, Aunt and best friend, Cheryl Chavis, returned to our Heavenly Father on the morning of October 26, 2015, peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends. Cheryl was born July 14, 1943 in Provo, Utah, a daughter of Eldon and Ella Pearson Chavis. She graduated from South Sevier High School and LDS Business College. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Cheryl was a hard worker and was known to be generous to her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She had many lifelong friends and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed a good movie, reading novels, horseback riding, gardening with her friends, dancing, playing board games with family, decorating her home for all seasons and family gatherings. She was a true friend, blessing all of us with her laughter, service and charity. Grave side services were held in the Monroe City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
