Chrystal G. Haggard

Glenwood, Utah - Our kind and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Chrystal Marguerite Gray Haggard, age 93, of Glenwood, died May 3, 2006 in Richfield, of complications from cancer. She was born Ocotber 5, 1912 in McKenzie, Burleigh County, North Dakota, a daughter of Arthur Denver and Elsie Coons Gray. She graduated from Bismark High School in Bismark, North Dakota, Class of 1929. She married Paul Webster Haggard Sr. July 19, 1929 in Bismark, North Dakota. Chrystal and Paul moved to the San Diego County area of California in 1940 and made their home there. Paul died November 8, 2000. Chrystal moved to Glenwood, Utah, to be closer to her daughter, Dolores H. Flick, in May of 2004. Chrystal enjoyed making her own clothes, growing flowers, baking bread, making pies and cakes. She will be missed. She is survived by her children: Paul W. and Barbara Haggard Jr. of Madera, California; Garry Ray and Thresea Haggard of San Diego, California; Dolores (Deceased) and Leo Flick of Glenwood; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister of Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Haggard Sr; daughter, Dolores H. Flick; and 7 siblings. Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 11, 2006 at 3:00 P.M. in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel in Richfield. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
