Richfield, Utah - Our beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister, Cindy Lou Burr Scott, age 41, passed out of this mortal existence on August 15, 2009 at her home in Richfield. Cindy was born April 23, 1968 in Richfield, Utah, a daughter of Lyal G. and Wana Lu Johansen Burr. She graduated from Piute High School and attended Dixie State College and completed training at the University of Phoenix Arizona, where she graduated with an executive assistant degree. Cindy married Charlie Scott Jr. on February 23, 1990 in Logan, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized one year later on February 23, 1991 in the Manti LDS Temple. Together they have four children: Charles (deceased), Chan’Tia, Cursie and Chania. Cindy dedicated her life to family whom she loved very much. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served faithfully in many different callings. Everything she did, she did with energy and heart. She was a vibrant, beautiful woman who touched many lives with her loving and compassionate nature. She is survived by her parents, Lyal and Wana Lu Burr of Burrville; her husband and three daughters of Richfield; brothers and sister: Douglas Burr of Salt Lake City; Phillip and Lisa Burr of Burrville; Kerry and Sheri Burr of Wasilla, Alaska; Janene and Darrell Curtis of West Valley City; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thanks to everyone at Intermountain Home Care for the love and tenderness they showed while taking care of our Cindy. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 11:00A.M. in the Richfield 5th LDS Ward Chapel, 805 North 500 East in Richfield. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or at the ward chapel Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 prior to the services. Grave side services and burial will be Thursday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. in the Burrville Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
