Cindy Robinson Mogi

Richfield, Utah - Our kind and loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Cindy May Robinson Mogi, age 59, passed away at her home in Richfield on March 30, 2017. She was born May 7, 1957 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Cline W. and Wilma Aleine Frakes Robinson. She graduated from Norco High School, Class of 1975 in Norco, California Cindy married Michael Mogi, February 17, 1979 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He died February 13, 2001. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo City LDS Temple. Cindy was a member of the LDS Church. She was a very compassionate person, always helping anyone in need. She was a happy person and was a joy to everyone she met. Before her illness, Cindy could always be found helping the elderly, taking food to people and doing whatever she could do to help folks in need. She loved every one and would do anything to help them. She enjoyed doing cross stitching, coloring Adult Coloring Books and making jewelry. Cindy loved her children and especially loved her granddaughter, Zoe. She is survived by her children: Michelle Umeko Mogi of North Carolina; Matthew Fumio Mogi of San Diego, California; granddaughter: Zoe Siemieniewski of Menifee, California; sisters and brother: Carrol Wheelwright of Ogden; Marlene Lee of Richfield; John and Connie Robinson of St. George. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Mogi; her parents: Cline and Aleine Robinson; her parents-in-law: Barry and Harue Mogi; brothers-in-law: Don Wheelwright and Rockne N. Lee; and three nieces: Roxanne Lee, Sharrol Brakefield and Lisa Watkins. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Richfield 4th LDS Ward Chapel, 159 North 400 West in Richfield, where friends may visit with the family from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will take place at a later date in the Joseph Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
