Clark C. Williams

Redmond, Utah - Clark Charles Williams, age 87, died March 16, 2010 at his home in Redmond. He was born November 27, 1922 in Salina, Utah, a son of Floyd Absolum and Florence Paulk Williams. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He married Jewel Sorensen, December 7, 1945 in Richfield, Utah. He was a member of the LDS Church. Clark enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, carpentry work and mining. He is survived by his wife of Redmond; children: Kay L. and SueAnn Williams, Sandy and Kim Bunce, Chris C. and Linda Williams, all of Salina; DeAnna and David Johnson of Elmo; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Sally Nielsen of Salt Lake City. He was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers: Polly, Gertrude, Dorothy, Margie, Jewel, Walter, Bob and Terry. Grave side services will be held Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in the Salina Eastside Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 150 East Main Street in Salina, Saturday from 12 Noon to 1:30 prior to the services. Burial with military honors accorded by the Salina American Legion Post #36 will be in the Eastside Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
