Claudine Ann Murphy

Salina, Utah - Claudine Ann Murphy, age 75, passed away peacefully at her home in Salina, Utah in the morning hours on October 7, 2021. Claudine was born on September 12, 1946 in San Francisco, California to Wayne Howard and Velma Imogene Scantlin Larrabee. She graduated from La Puente High School in California, Class of ’64. She moved to the North Sevier area in 1978. Claudine was blessed with 4 children: 3 daughters and 1 son. She spent many wonderful years working at the Safari in Salina and as a cook at the famous Mom’s Cafe, which she truly enjoyed. Claudine enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing, crafting, crocheting, and making handmade cards for everyone’s birthdays. She also enjoyed playing card games and building puzzles. Claudine is survived by her four children and their spouses. Cynthia (Kevin) Nielsen, Kristen (Lonnie) Tidlund, Patty (Chris) Horne, and David (Lisa) Torgerson. Also 3 sisters, June Barndt, Sandee Clubb and Vickie Phillips. Claudine was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren who will truly miss her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Velma Larrabee, and a sister, Barbara Worall. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the Aurora City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
