Clifford N. Jensen

July 4, 1956 — January 27, 2018

Marysvale, Utah - My beloved husband, Clifford Niels Jensen, age 61, ascended this mortal life on January 27th, 2018 in Marysvale, UT. He completed what he set out to do over two years ago by transcending cancer and joining his favorite fishing buddy, Rufus. Cliff, who was always an independent spirit, was born on the 4th of July, 1956 to Donald and Joy Jensen, in Glendale, California. Soon after his birth, the family moved back to Utah. Cliff grew up in the farming community of Clinton. He graduated from Clearfield High School in 1974. Cliff met me, Erin Peterson, in Aspen Grove, Utah. We were married on June 13, 1975. Together, we had two sons, Travis and Ben. I was honored to spend the past 43 years as his life partner in this incarnation. Our love was no accident; it was destined to be. Cliff was a plumbing contractor and worked in the field for over 40 years. His last job was at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs where he worked forKozco Mechanical. Cliff was known for his impeccable work ethic and honesty. He took great pride in a job well done and passed that passion onto his sons. Cliff was an avid sports enthusiast especially when it came to his boys. He rarely missed a game or a meet and attended many of their practices. The outdoors and nature is where Cliff found solace. He spent as much time there as possible. He had a special place in his heart for nature and all animals. Cliff and I loved to travel together. Of all his journeys, the one he held closest to his heart was “The Courage Cruise” through the Mediterranean. It was a spiritual journey where we connected with many others throughout the world who believe as we do. He is survived by his wife, Erin; his children Travis (Sophia Phillips) and Ben (Kelli); and his grandchildren, Braden, Tannice, Landon, Dayton, Brody, Reece and Sadie as well as four soon-to-be grandchildren:Emerie, Gavin, Jaelyn and Isaiah. Also his brothers and sisters: Jim (Cheryl), Sharon (Jim) Adams, David (Tami), Dan (Sharon), Julie (Craig)Christensen, Rus (Linda), Susan Hart, Jence, Matt (Monica), Larry (Julie), Jennifer Toone, and his Mother-in-Law, Luana Peterson, brother’s- and sister’s-in-law and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cliff made the generous decision to donate his body to the University of Utah Medical Center to further the study of cancer. Unfortunately, circumstances prevented this from occurring. Cliff wanted to extend a special thanks to his dear friend, Ingrid Jager-Verhagen of the Netherlands who worked with him on energy transformation during the past two years. He also wanted to express his love for the citizens of Marysvale and considered them all to be family. Cliff was a man of tremendous compassion, insight and love. He was dedicated to living a spiritual life. He believed in the deep connection of all beings—of all that is. He profoundly understood that agape love is all that is needed to transform our collective consciousness from separation to unity and that the One I Am is truly who we all are. I intend to continue his legacy in the life I now live. “Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul, there is no separation” (Rumi). A Celebration of Life will be held at the Marysvale Community Center from 11:00 to 12:30 on Saturday, February 17, 2018. At his request, his remains have been cremated. Funeral Directors: Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
